Who is rollerblading?

Answer: Just me! I will be rollerblading the entire distance myself. However, I invite anyone to come out and blade with when I come through your city!

When are you starting?

Answer: I will beginning rollerblading from Newfoundland in the first week of May. I will either leave on the Friday or Saturday of that week.

How long will it take?

Answer: I estimate that I will arrive in Vancouver in September. I expect the entire trip to take between 4 and 5 months. It is difficult to predict an exact date because of the many variable factors along the way.

How much money do you plan to raise?

Answer: My goal is $300,000. This might sound like a lot, but I’ll only need 6000 people to donate $50. That’s not a lot considering how many people are affected by cancer in Canada.

How do I donate?

Answer: You can donate online through this website (click here), you can hand me cash when I rollerblade by you, or you can mail donations to me.

Can you provide a tax receipt for my donation?

Answer: Yes. Any donation of $20 or more will receive a receipt. If you hand me cash while I’m blading, I will try my best to accomodate you on the spot. However, you may have to wait for a tax receipt to be issued directly from the University of Alberta.

Will you stop at my school?

Answer: I can’t guarentee that I will be able to stop at every school. But send me an e-mail with your request and I’ll try my best to fit it in.

Can I rollerblade with you?

Answer: Absolutely! I encourage everyone to come blade, skate, run or bike with me when I come through your area! The more people involved, the better!
