My reason for wanting to raise money for lung cancer research should be obvious. It is impossible to imagine what my friend, Adam (right) has had to endure through his continuing battle with throat and lung cancer. Yet he has managed to remain an inspiration in the way he has kept a positive attitude towards life. Adam is on the far right of this picture.

But why rollerblade across Canada? Because I can. I feel it’s my responsibility to contribute to the fight against cancer since I am fortunate to have my health. I want people to realize that anyone can make a difference.
